On October 27th, 2016, a conferance on academic resilliance was organized. The key speaker was Dr. Suna Eryigit-Madzwamuse from Brighton University, who is an influential researcher on public health. 200 participants took part in the conferance. During which, the meaning resilience and how it could be developed within at risk youth was discussed. Additionally, examples from current and past research were given and resulting potential intervention methods were reviewed.
