Project meeting was held in Bucharest, Romania under the project named KA3 EMPAQT financed by European Commission. The details of in-service training activities to be organized for the teachers were discussed at a meeting attended by a Branch Manager representing the Provincial Directorate of National Education and ARGE unit employee.

The main purpose of the project is to prevent early school dropouts through teachers. In this context, an in-service training program consisting of 18 modules was designed by project partners and in-service trainings are planned for teachers in 5 schools where the school dropout is high in our province. After one week of face-to-face training activities, class pilot practice will be carried out and evaluation results will be continuously recorded. After the training activities planned to be given to the academicians who are working at Maltepe University from the partners of the project, the teachers will be given certificates with international validity.

At the end of the project, an International Symposium on School Territory will be organized in Maltepe University and the Muğla Provincial Directorate of National Education in Istanbul, and presentations and discussions will be held on the reasons for the school dropout in the European countries.
